Welcome to Poké Face Blog: What's the Point? Who's Gonna Read This!?
I'm not sure we know the answer to either of these questions, but if there's one thing I know to be true it's that stepping forward, even when you're not sure of all the answers, is sometimes the way and often may just be the only way.
Why We're Here
Writing and getting our thoughts out there is important. It's important we have a voice. Most of the time, most of us don't feel like using that voice too much, but if nothing else it's important we have one. We need a place to say how we feel, what we mean, what's important to us. We need a place to vent, to share, to shout & scream, to laugh and to... smile.
We created Poké Face to make you smile. It does. It's happy, healthy food which is made from a good place, and the flavour and nutrition genuinely makes you grin with satisfaction, joy and knowing that you're putting good things in to fuel your body. All done with happiness.
And happiness is important. It's really important. It's not easy or something to be taken for granted - sometimes you kinda have to earn it - but it's what we strive for and what we wish upon all our worldly connections and their connections too.
What You Can Expect
I hope you enjoy reading this blog. Stick around. We'll get through a good range of things and I'm excited to see where it goes.
Of course we'll have the odd post shouting that we have the best Ahi Tuna Poké Bowl in Geneva or that our fast delivery through Uber Eats, Smood and our own website are the fastest ways to get great poké bowls delivered to you. But there will also be some other perspectives too.
Perspectives on food, on nutrition, the importance of sourcing, fresh produce, exercise, small business, Geneva life and life in general - and more if that's even possible?
